AMEET SHAH SELECTED AS LEADERSHIP NJ FELLOW

Ameet Shah, Founder and CEO of Conigent, was one of 42 professionals chosen throughout the state to be a Leadership New Jersey Fellow. Leadership New Jersey is a non-profit, charitable organization that seeks out, honors and challenges a select group of New Jerseyans who have the potential to provide the leadership needed to solve problems of statewide significance. Shah was selected on the basis of ability, demonstrated interest in the community, achievement in his profession and potential for responsible and effective leadership.
Through a year-long seminar program, Fellows are informed about the key issues shaping the future of the state and challenged to take on wider responsibilities to make New Jersey a better place in which to live and work. Graduation takes place December 6. Fellows remain active in a graduate network.
“I’m very proud to have been chosen as a Leadership New Jersey Fellow,” said Shah, whose commitment to serving the larger community is intrinsic to Conigent’s 1-1-1 mission, which includes participating in at least one company-wide charitable event per quarter, helping nonprofit organizations with free IT consulting services, donating one percent of Conigent’s profits to a philanthropic cause, and giving employees one paid day off per quarter to partake in individual charitable projects.
